Dominic had his two week check-up yesterday and everything is great!!
My pig of a son gained 15.5 ounces in 9 days so he is now up to 8 lb 2.5 oz! :)
He has also grown. He was 20 5/8" when he was born; now he's a full 21 inches!
Ears, nose, throat, eyes all checked out excellent as well.
He has a bump on the back of his head that Mike and I were becoming concerned with and Dr. Amy checked it out for us. It seems to just be a cyst that is within the skin; not on the skull! So, no worries we just have to have the doctors check it out everytime we go to make sure it doesn't turn into anything serious. So for now, no worries at all! We don't have to go back to the dr until his two month visit!
And today, 3/12 the last bit of his cord fell off! He can finally have a real bath! :)
He's getting so big! I've got to make sure I can get over there to see him before you guys head back. This dumb cold needs to go away!
ReplyDeleteHave fun giving him his real bath... the expression on their face is so priceless! Some babies love it, some hate it. Evan hated getting his hair wet, but loved the rest.
